Sponsorship: 84codes engaging locally

There are multiple ways to make an impact in the world, and one of them is by contributing money. At 84codes, employees have the opportunity to sponsor a cause of their choice that is close to their hearts.

At 84codes, we prioritize the wellbeing of our employees, valuing what is important to them as important to us. That’s why the company offers a sponsor agreement, enabling the coworkers to annually sponsor a cause of their choice. So far, we have supported a local ski club, a working dog club, a young football team, and a running club.

“We want to contribute to society and support causes that are important to our coworkers. Sponsoring promising biathletes
The most recent contribution from 84codes is dedicated to Line Palopää, a very promising young lady from the mountain municipality of Arjeplog. Born in 2007, Line has been receiving frequent mentions in Swedish newspapers for her impressive achievements in the sport of biathlon. In 2022, she surprised herself by winning the Swedish junior championship in biathlon on roller skis. Just six months later, she once again stood on the podium, this time earning a bronze medal in the Swedish junior championship in biathlon. In the fall of 2023, she earned a place at the biathlon gymnasium in Sollefteå, and we are excited to see what the future holds for this rising star.

Line Palopää is grateful for the support, stating that it is encouraging and helps to solve some of the challenges associated with aiming for the stars. Sofie Abrahamsson, the coworker who chose to sponsor Line Palopää through 84codes, says it’s feels like a nice thing to do.
